The best way to book is by using our online booking system. This will allow you to book, rebook, cancel and reschedule at your convenience.

We book based on time. The average trims and maintenance haircuts are about one hour.
We recommend booking for 1.5 hours if:
it’s your first appointment
you have thick or long hair
you are looking for a new style/ transformative cut
In the 1.5 hour appointment, you will be able to consult with the stylist before your cut and decipher what’s best for you. In addition, they will answer any questions to help you navigate through maintenance options.
Each visit is tailored specifically to you and one-hundred-percent inclusive. Currently, we have a few price points to meet your needs.
A 15 minute consult is included in service or you can request a separate appointment.

How do hourly bookings for color services work?
When you book a color service by the hour, the amount of time reserved will determine the complexity and extent of the color work that can be completed. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect based on the time booked:
1 Hour Color Service
- Best for: Toner application or gloss treatments.
- Description: A quick refresh to maintain your color’s tone and shine. This service is ideal for a toner to adjust the shade or neutralize unwanted hues between full services, or for a gloss treatment to enhance shine and vibrancy.
2 Hour Color Service
- Best for: All-over single process color, partial highlights, or balayage touch-ups.
- Description: If you're looking for a more comprehensive color refresh or subtle changes, such as adding dimension with highlights or lowlights, two hours allows us to deliver a polished look while maintaining a natural finish.
3+ Hour Color Service
- Best for: Full highlights, balayage, ombre, color corrections, or vivid color transformations.
- Description: This service is perfect for clients looking for dramatic color changes or complex techniques. Whether you’re looking for a complete overhaul or multi-dimensional color, we recommend booking 3 or more hours to ensure your stylist has enough time to create the perfect look.

We ask that you please come in with your hair dry and down. This means no ponytails, messy buns, or pulled back with clips. It is important we see your natural texture as we tailor each haircut and color to you.
Hair can be a day or two from your last wash. We want to see what your hair is like when you let it air dry. If you’re someone who always wears it a certain way, come in with it styled in the way you feel most comfortable with.
Please use a minimum amount of product in your hair. For example, gels, texturizing sprays, and dry shampoo make the hair stiff and difficult to get into.
Don't forget to prepare a few reference photos and any ideas you have for your new look. If you aren’t entirely sure of what exactly you want, even photos of what you do not want are a great help during the consultation.

In the event that you have to cancel your hair cut or color appointment, we ask that you notify your stylist. Each stylist has their own policy:
Elma and Kay: No cancellation fee. Cancellations within 24hrs on more than two occasions will not be allowed to reschedule on our books.
Markee, Farrah, Megan and Hannah: If you same-day cancel or no-show for your appointment, you will be charged the full price of your appointment.
Chenoh: Cancellations andchanges can be made up until 6pm the day before your appointment. All other cancellations will be charged for 50% of the time booked. No contact/no shows will be charged the full amount of the time booked.
Priscila: Cancellations made within 24hrs of appointment time will be charged 50% of service charge.
As a general rule, clients running 10 minutes late or more, may need to reschedule their appointment. Clients that are 20 minutes late or more are considered a no show.

If you wish to have an adjustment on your service, you have one week to email us to do so. Adjustments are free of charge.

Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes to your appointment. We have limited waiting area space so bringing someone along is a tight squeeze.
As a general rule, if you are 10 minutes late or more you may need to reschedule your appointment. Clients that are 20 min late or more are considered a no show.
If you need to kill time before your appointment, there are so many lovely businesses within a two block radius of the shop! We recommend: Milk & Pull Cafe and Honore Club for a drink, or shop at Brooklyn Vintage, & Quality Goods.

We accept Credit Cards only, no cash. Gratuity is included in your service, so you don’t have to tip!
